Step 1: Choose Your Flavor
Choose your preferred protein powder flavor, carefully open your pouch, and measure out 1 level scoop of protein powder. Add to 10-12 ounces of cool water, milk, or other liquids suitable for protein shakes.
Keep in mind that APOLLO protein tastes great on its own in just milk/water, but is also delicious in your favorite smoothie recipe.
TIP: Add your liquid to your smoothie/shaker cup first before adding your dry ingredeints. This will help avoid any powder sticking to the bottom of your vessel!
Step 2: Shake or Blend
Once you've added your ingredients to your liquid, blend or shake unitl you reach your desired consistency.
The less liquid you use, the thicker your shake will be, and the more liquid that you use, the thinner your shake will be. It just depends how you like your shakes!

I have mixed feelings about the new formula protein powder. First, the good. Flavor is the same and still great tasting. Mixes well in a shaker, no difference from the original. Lower calories is always appreciated. Super happy there’s no stevia in it.
As for the negatives, while the lower calorie count is nice, I prefer a little more protein like 24 grams. Not a deal breaker tho. Second, the flavor selection is limited. Hoping you bring back the cookies & cream and cookie dough. And lastly, is the cost. The old formula had 27 servings for $49.99 (about $1.85/serving). The new bags only have 16 servings and cost $36.99 (about $2.31/serving). That’s a huge difference. Also not a big fan of the bags over tubs. I find them to be messier as my hand comes out covered in powder.
All told, I still enjoyed the Apollo and will continue to purchase it.

This is the first flavor I have tried since Unico restocked their protein. I like that it comes in a 1lb bag now. It’s very convenient. I enjoyed the birthday cake flavor as a shake (mixed w/cow’s milk) & combined w/Greek yogurt. I like my protein a little sweeter so I added stevia or monk fruit & it was perfect. Can’t wait to try another flavor.

I counted down months for Unico to restock the birthday cake protein powder and immediately bought it once it became available. It is the birthday cake protein powder I’ve purchased that tastes like its flavor. The others are super sweet vanilla with a flavor you can’t quite place (not bad, but not what you had hoped). This is it! It tastes like birthday cake, and I love to chill it in the freezer for ~20 minutes, so it’s ice cold and has time to thicken. I ration it to make it last longer and “try” to wait until there’s a sale (as it is expensive).
