First, let’s talk about the packaging! So. Freaking. Cute. Gah. Like so cute I saved my empties and I am so re-purposing this box for something. For YEARS I’ve been meaning to try Unico Nutrition. A) The aesthetics lure me in like a moth to a flame and B) The flavors.
This protein powder blends like a dream in my #teamunico blender bottle. All I do is add water and shake it like Shakira. Never had any clumps, or chunks- AMEN to that! In this adorable box you get eight samples… sorry no homemade strawberry cheesecake at the moment (but they did say to me on social that they are working on it). So far, Aunt Judy’s magical banana cream pie, ooey gooey frosted cinnamon roll, and uni the unicorn’s birthday cupcakes with extra frosting and RAINBOW sprinkles have been my fav. And, YES there really are flipping rainbow sprinkles. How fun and EXTRA! Also, the cookies ‘n cream dream has actual cookie crumbles- yum, right?! The only miss for me has been the candyshop salted caramel squares. Maybe I just didn’t clean my blender bottle properly, as you know how funky protein powders make them smell, but it tasted a tad on the funky. With that said I am still going to give it another go but it would not be my first full-size Apollo purchase. My only tiny complaint is that there is a few grams of sugar. However, that prob. is what makes it so drinkable. Hands down this is the tastiest protein out on the market and I am shook at how amazing it blends. Seriously, I do not mind drinking this and replacing a meal (and trust me, I love me some food, hence why I am on this weight loss journey). Just trust me, run your a$$ and JUMP down the Unico rabbit hole with me- you will not regret it. I am absolutely purchasing more of the Apollo special sample box. Actually, I am pretty sure I will never be without one.

The powders are pretty good! Flavors are fun. The customer service is pretty dang awful and 100% not worth these powders though, so unless you want to wait a month for these to get to you when you paid for priority shipping (money I’ll never get back), I’d say try another company.

Ultimately it’s a perfect way to find out what Unico offers in protein powders! The box is adorable and the package for each flavor is cute as well. I was impressed with nearly all the flavors offered; except the Banana Cream Pie…I wanted to love it, but it was too much like an unripe banana. Also, I really wanted to try the strawberry cheesecake too, but it’s not offered in the pack.

Definitely a five star rating is well deserved for this product. It is the best protein shake I have tried out there and trust me I’ve tried many. No funny aftertaste no gritty textures! Every shake is a nice creamy delicious tasting protein shake. My first order was the sample package and there wasn’t one flavor I didn’t like. My three favorites are the vanilla milkshake, banana cream pie, and the strawberry cheesecake

I tried this with an attitude of, “Meh, might as well.” After trying two of the envelopes I immediately ordered full size containers of Banana Pie and Cookies and Cream. Chocolate Lava Cake was out of stock, but will order in the future! Tastes better than any protein drinks I have ever tried and it thickens up nicely.
