Makes 4 waffles.
Protein Waffle Ingredients:
- 2 scoops Unico Birthday Cake Protein Powder
- ¾ cup Oat Flour
- 2 Eggs
- ½ cup unsweetened Almond Milk (or your go-to milk)
- 1 ½ teaspoons Vanilla
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
- 2 tablespoons Sprinkles
Protein Waffle Directions:
- Power on your waffle iron. Set it to medium heat, or allow it to preheat according to your waffle maker directions.
- In a large bowl, use an electric or hand mixer to blend all ingredients together.
- Generously spray the waffle iron with coconut oil, vegetable oil or canola oil. This is a must for a flawless waffle departure.
- Use a measuring cup to pour batter into the middle of the iron. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until your waffle is golden brown. My waffle maker has a green “ready” light that illuminates when it’s cooked to perfection.
- Remove + dress it up with your favorite toppings!
- Celebrate your first tiny victory of the day.
NOTE: Waffles can be stored in the fridge for up to five days, and reheated in the oven or toaster as needed. Wrap them individually in plastic wrap for maximum freshness.
